Drying Systems

Rotary Dryers
From alfalfa to wood to feathers, a rotary dryer is normally the most efficient process for drying biomass and many other materials in bulk. We have designed and manufactured the most innovative rotary drying systems available for over 35 years, beginning as Guaranty Performance Company. After hundreds of improvements while working with dozens of industries, we're confident we can help with your project. Whether it's state-of-the-art controls, a single piece of equipment or an entire plant, our experienced engineers have the knowledge to solve your problem.
Efficiency and Innovation
Our numerous advances allow our hot-air rotary dryers to safely and efficiently process your product to the specifications you require. Our patented Z8 rotary dryer increases product and hot gas contact during drying increasing the drying efficiency, and the reverse-flow design promotes particle separation to limit over- or under-drying found in traditional rotary dryers.
Year after year, we have implemented new design techniques in our rotary dryers that have made our systems leaders in the dryer industry. We introduce material into the side of the drum to limit contact with the hottest gases to prevent burning and smoking. We design and utilize the latest technology in our trunnion bases and drum drive systems. Utilizing our new wedge design decreases the stress on the dryer tracks, and innovative seals minimize air leakage. We are always looking for ways to improve our rotary drum dryers to provide our customers with the latest technological advances.
Rotary dryers use hot air to dry, making them ideal for recycling and recovering heat from themselves or other heat sources. You get the advantage of our innovative equipment and experience when you seek to increase dryer and plant efficiency. Using waste heat from boilers or vent exhausts is a possible way to increase dryer efficiency. This application reduces pollution and cost. Utilizing hot press vent exhaust or other VOC-laden air are prime means to integrate environmental and energy management in ways that benefit plant operations.
